Ram Sastry's current focus is in coming up with value-adding applications for vertical market segments (current focus is on but not limited to: building and industrial automation, healthcare, and homeland security) where wireless sensor networking technologies can play a crucial role in enhancing business processes. Ram has extensive experience, both technical and business development, in the area of multimedia networking including VoIP, and session initiation protocol (SIP) based, converged voice-data applications. He has Ph.D., M.S., and B-Tech degrees in electrical engineering, and an M.A. degree in mathematics.
